This was another great week in Mr Haney’s class!On Monday we had a field trip.It was to a science museum called AMSE.It was a really fun field trip because for me it was fun and I learned a lot of things from it.When we first got there we all met in the auditorium to talk with one of the people that worked their.The whole lesson was pretty much on atoms.It got kinda boring until she brought out the demonstration.It was a big metal ball machine and when she was done we all got to go up and if you touch it your hair will go up.Also when I did it I pulled my hand off,but it was fine because it was harmless.Finally,we got to just go around the museum with a friend.On Tuesday there was a West Valley middle school tour.That is where I am going to middle school,but sadly I was  sick so I can’t say much.On Wednesday,I was sick also.That was the day of the Bearden Middle school tour.On Thursday Anna Cate came up with an idea of Mother’s Day cards and that was awesome.On Friday,we had multiple things.We had the boy’s talk,practiced musical,typing novels,and many more.This week was fantastic!!!!!

Week 34 was great!This week was heath week and everyday we had someone come in and talk to us or do an activity about staying fit and heathy.On Monday we had a Zumba instructor come in and we learned a new dance to help us stay fit.On Tuesday a guy came to talk to us about diabetes and we had a mystery Skype with Illinois.On Wednesday  some of  didn’t  get to do another day of the heath fair because it was the track meet!My event was the 800 meter dash.It is where you run the whole track 2 times in a row!It was really hard!On Thursday we had another mystery Skype!It was Texas.We have had Texas three times this year!On Friday for the heath fair,we had the walk for diabetes which was awesome!I really loved this week

This week was one of my favorite weeks.It was the week we have been preparing for,for 8 months and it all came down to this week.I was kind of nervous for our first time which was reading.It was hard,but if we work hard we get to let loose and play on the Ipads.I will tell you the schuele.On Wednesday, we had math.On Thursday we had science which was really easy for me!And lastly,we had history.I am really exited to see what I will get and see what classes I get in middle school!Also one more thing is that Anna Cate is doing a fundraiser  for Africa.It is for The Door of Hope.The way she is doing it is that she is selling necklaces and parachute bracelets and I got a blue one!This week was amazing!!!!!!!!!

This was an AMAZING week!Of coarse,to start off the week on Monday we  got to do ticket trivia which is where we do trivia to get ready for TCAPS.To make it more interesting we get a tally  for each trivia we get right and every five we get a ticket!Then for reading we do the same centers to get us ready for TCAP.To get ready even more we also had tech club on Monday.Then on Tuesday we got to do the trivia that we have been doing,but we got to go to the outside classroom since it was a nice day.On Wednesday we got to do tech club again!It was Study Island and trivia.On Thursday we did a soccer unit in gym and it was Anna cate’s birthday.On Friday we did  one of my favorite things.We got to go over TCAPS with the third graders!Finally  we got to get out of math for the Rocky Hill Singers!

This week was an awesome week.To start off the week,on Monday we didn’t have school.Then we started continuing to do the TCAP review  which I liked a lot because  for the day we did centers and fun things to get us ready for the TCAP.On Tuesday we got cool letters from spain.They gave us little presents to go along with their letters and I thought that was really nice of them.On Wednesday we got our new safety posts and I got a post where I hold the door for the bus riders.Then on Thursday we got to do some cool centers in gym and it was Ethan’s Birthday and he brought cupcakes in!Lastly,we got to do the TCAP review with 3rd graders which was really cool.This week was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week was awesome.First thing I would like to write about is that some of our class went to the movie The Hunger Games on Friday.Some of you might have seen it, but if you have not seen it I would recommend it because I thought it was AWESOME!The TCAPS are coming up so we had to do review all week.I thought some things were fun and some things were really boring.Also Mrs.Kasper came in to visit us.She used to come and do leveled readers with us,but she had to move to Nashville so she could not do it anymore,so it was awesome when she came.On Wednesday  it was really exiting and kinda nervous for me  because the track forms were up to tell who made it .When I went to check I made the 800 meter dash!!!!!!!!Then on Thursday the girls got their party because we lost the map challenge,but the good thing is we get four days off for Easter.This was an Amazing week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This week was awesome.There was a lot of stuff that we did this week.To start off the week on Monday we had a BIG science quiz that counts for alot of your science grade.Next we had teachers from a different school comer and watch us.Then On Wednesday  we did alot of things! We planted the new garden,but sadly I was not there.We also made these cool new games on Quia.Also we sent pictures to france on ePals and we got to send them our National Anthem and Pledge Which was really fun!This week was great!!!!1

It was another remarkable week at RockyHill!We did some awesome stuff this week and I will tell you the things we did.To start off the week we had our weekly spelling packet and we continued our awesome centers.This week for our reading story we had this story called The Unbreakable Code.It was a story about a kid named John and his grandfather was a Navajo code talker and he was telling a story of how his life was as a Navajo code talker.I really liked this reading story!On Tuesday we had the 2nd grade musical and I really liked it and we got to get out of math early!On Wednesday  we got to write a goodbye letter to the Philippines.We have been writing to them all year and it is really sad that we have to say goodbye. Then on Thursday we went to gym and had the rest of track try outs.There was long jump to do and tug of war.I didn’t do well in the long jump,but I made the Tug of war finals.I had too work really hard because there was some really strong people!Lastly we  started our novel movie.My group is The Tale of Despereaux.I was really exited because I got to be the main character which is Despereaux.It was really fun because we had to dress up as mice and  put marker on our face to make it look like we had whiskers and a mouse nose!!This week was a spectacular week.

I live in the beautiful city of Knoxville.Knoxville is located in east Tennessee.I go to Rockyhill Elementary.There is some famous  landmarks in Knoxville.Some examples are The Great Smokey Mountains,Neyland Stadium,The Sunsphere,and many more!It is really warm in the summer and really cold in the Winter.There are some pro teams in Tennessee like the Vols,Memphis Grizzlies,and the Tennessee Titans!I love Tennessee!!!!!!!!!!!

This week was great!This week we were competing in World Math day,World science day,and World spelling day.On Monday we got to do World spelling Day.Then on Tuesday we got to do World Math day.Then on Wednesday  we did World Science day  which I really liked because I got 124 points.We also got in the Guinness  book of world records for getting the most correct answers.On Thursday I was really nervous because we had track try-outs and I REALLY wanted to make it.Also what made me nervous is if the boys lose this map quiz the girls win because there are 9 and we have lost 4 times and that means if we do lose there is no possible way we could win the whole thing so the boys better win!!!!!!!!We had another awesome day with our reading buddies.It was where we got to play any app and our reading buddies got really exited!
